Air Fryer Chickpeas
Crunchy chickpeas are such a yummy gluten free snack! They are also fiber filled and a good source of protein.
That’s a win win when you’re feeling snacky!! You can munch on these by themselves or use them as a topper on salads or soups. Another great option is to use them as a meat substitute for taco night.
However you choose to enjoy them, cooking chickpeas in the air fryer is fast and easy!

Air Fryer Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
- avocado oil
- sea salt
- seasoning of choice (taco or everything are faves)
Instructions
- After draining & rinsing your chickpeas, dry them with a towel. I also prefer to peel the skins off each chickpea. (Not necessary, just a preference)
- In a small bowl combine chickpeas with a little drizzle of avocado oil. Mix well.
- Then sprinkle sea salt and/or any seasoning of choice. I like a good savory spice like taco or everything.
- Set the air fryer to 375° and cook for 5 minutes. Shake the air fryer basket so chickpeas can rotate & cook again for another 5 minutes.
- Watch the last couple of minutes to make sure your chickpeas don’t burn (they don’t taste good charged!)
- Serve right after cooking or store them in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
